The keyboard layout is described in terms of an IPA chart rather than a keyboard. This is because many base characters are typed as a sequence of a letter followed by one of <, > or = which are characters used to change a base character to another base character. Diacritics are typed as sequences of an appropriate key.
Aero includes a variety of AI enhancements for oral translation programs for pure oral communities, and for oral communities with some use of written language.
Aero capabilities include:
* noise removal in audio recordings
* voice conversion to anonymize a voice actor
* key term detection and replacement in audio files
* automated speech recognition, including training a speech recognition system for a newly written language
*transcription into a related language
