Quizlet

Quizlet is a website that lets you create flashcard type quizzes, and then quizzes you on them. It maintains statistics on what you've answered correctly, and can test you in a variety of ways, such as how many can you get correct in a fixed time, 

Requires creating an account, you can create a profile on the site, or use a Google or Facebook account to authenticate.

A basic account is free, letting you create text based quizzes. The site accepts Unicode input. A $15 per year subscription (Quizlet Plus) lets you record audio and upload pictures, a $25 subscription (Quizlet Teacher) allows audio and pictures, lets you create quizzes for your students, and see how they do on them. Subscribing also hides the ads on the site.

Art Of Reading

A collection of over 10,000 images from SIL and national artists around the world. These black and white line drawings are suitable for use in a wide variety of literacy materials, newsletters, bulletin board displays, and other cultural awareness materials. They are indexed by country, author, keywords, and other categories.

Adapt It

Adapt It is a computer program that helps translate texts between related languages (a process called adaptation). Using Adapt It, translators have been able to dramatically reduce the total time spent in their translation projects.

Reading App Builder

Reading App Builder helps you build customized apps for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. You can use it to make apps containing picture books, health and community development materials, song books, illustrated stories and libraries of easy-to-read books for new readers – each with the option of synchronizing text and audio, highlighting each phrase as it is read. In an attempt to provide a good language learning tool, the Language Learning department of SIL has been looking at Anki and various Addons to provide a good tool for learners:

SooSL for sign language dictionaries

Can create and manage video files and written annotations for a sign language dictionary. Signs can be indexed according to sign structure, hand configurations, general movement parameters, and non-manual signs so they can be searched for. Signs can also be searched for by written language strings. Written annotations can be added in several different languages. Also other video files for sign language annotations and comments can be added to the entries.

Video, images and text can explain what a sign means and why it was chosen.
