A plug in for Paratext to aid in composing comprehension questions for testing a translation.
Asheninka (a Syllable Parser) is a tool to explore using several different algorithms for parsing orthographic words into syllables. It can also insert discretionary hyphens in words. It is designed to work with any language whose orthography is roman-based.

myWorkSafe Provides a super-simple backup system for language-development workers.
Once installed, myWorkSafe is always running. It places a small icon in the Windows Task Bar. When you insert a USB flash drive for the first time, the application asks you if you want to use it for Backup. Subsequently, when you insert it, myWorkSafe opens and begins backing up. The Keyboard Layout Creator lets you create keyboard layouts. You can add any Unicode character to your keyboard layout. You can create dead keys. The keyboards cannot be context sensitive like Keyman keyboards can. The program is a free download and the keyboards you create can be shared with anyone. The keyboards are installed into Windows, and then appear in the list of available keyboards in Control Panel.

WeSay helps non-linguists build a dictionary in their own language. It has various ways to help native speakers to think of words in their language and enter some basic data about them. The program is customizable and task-oriented, giving the advisor the ability to turn on/off tasks as needed and as the user receives training for those tasks. WeSay uses a standard xml format, so data can be exchanged with linguist-oriented tools like FieldWorks. Team members can collaborate via USB flash drive, email, and via network connections.
